The greatest evidence that God heals today is the work He's done in people's lives. Check out some of the testimonies below from people who have received a healing touch from God.

Does God Heal Arthritis?

Arthritic Back Pain  

This is a testimony of a touch from God that I received after receiving prayer in the Healing Room on December 9, 2017. I wanted to wait a few weeks before I wrote it to test out the healing I received.

Background: In early Autumn, I had routine blood work which revealed that I was very anemic. My blood count was so low my doctor called me to set up an upper Endoscopy and other tests to try to determine the cause of the anemia. She also discussed the possibility of giving me a blood transfusion.

The Endoscopy revealed that I had been bleeding internally due to an ulcer which had developed. It was caused by me taking Celebrex, a prescription anti-inflammatory drug for arthritis, for over a decade. I was told to immediately stop taking the Celebrex and to refrain from using any other anti-inflammatory drugs.

I felt the effects of not taking the Celebrex almost immediately. My back began to ache and would go into spams, making it very difficult to walk or move around and unpack boxes to set up my new house. I would wake up several times a night with pain shooting down my spine, hip, and knees, and I could only lay on one side. The pain was getting progressively worse and I felt miserable. My pain was often at a 4 or 5 level if I was sitting down, and between 7-9 when I moved around. It really affected the quality of my life and I was becoming discouraged.

SO, on Saturday, December 9^th, I went to The Crossing to work in the Healing Room ministry. I was in so much pain that morning that I considered calling out and staying home, but I realized how stupid that was, even as the thought flashed through my mind. As one of the Healing Room leaders, how could I possibly stay home because of a little pain? So, I drove to The Crossing, even though I could not stand up straight or walk normally, and my back was spasming.

After our Healing Room worship time, as we were waiting for people to come in for their appointments, I explained my situation to my fellow Healing Room staff members and asked for prayer. The team gathered around and prayed for me. It was not a long prayer session, just quick and to the point. After the prayer, one of the HR team asked me if I felt any different.

I gingerly stood up and started moving. There was no pain! I then picked up the pace and walked around the room, and to my delight, I found that ALL the pain was gone! The stabs of shooting pain that just minutes before had hit my back, hip and leg with every step I took was completely gone!

I waited a few weeks to write this testimony because I wanted to test it out. I am happy to say that the back pain continues to be a thing of the past, without the Celebrex. I have been sleeping through the night, no longer waking up in pain, and the quality of my life has definitely improved. As I’ve thought about this, I realized that Jesus had come on the scene and touched me. I didn’t feel anything tangibly during the prayer, but He was there and in an instant, things changed.

Note: I still have the symptoms of arthritis and some days I feel as stiff as a board. However, the pain is gone, and I am going to make an appointment for a whole HR session to address the arthritis in my body. Stay tuned.

Arthritis Pain in Right Hand

 

In April 2006 the first knuckle on the middle finger on my right hand suddenly became inflamed, swollen, and misshaped. The finger was so tender, and the pain so severe that my first thought was that it was gout. Even a slight brushing of the finger against anything brought excruciating pain. After discussing it with my doctor, I had a test to determine what was causing the problem. The test came back identifying arthritis. He prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, which provided some degree of relief.

The Wednesday night after the Global Awakening Healing Conference I was in the Concert of Prayer during the personal ministry time and I thought to myself, “Why not me, Lord?” I asked Ed Reistetter to pray for my hand and as he did the pain felt as though it was being pulled out of my body through the end of the finger.

The pain was reduced by 80% and has remained at that level. I share the testimony of God’s healing touch with the Ministry Staff during the week and through the power of that shared testimony during the following Sunday morning services many more people who had hand problems were healed. -D.C.

Arthritis and Osteoporosis

God touched me and healed me while we were praying for Anita Joy, who was suffering from Arthritis and Osteoporosis. My own knees had been aching for weeks. I was having trouble with stairs and getting in and out of the car. While we were praying for Anita Joy, the pain left my knees, 100%! Praise God! -S.L.

Does God Heal Back Issues?

Upper, Lower and Back Pain

God healed my upper and lower back pain that I had on the left side. As I stood I felt His warmth go through me and when others prayed they "knew" what to say and speak to my body and my spirit. After prayer, my neck was more flexible. -K.U.

Degenerative Disc Disease

I had degenerative disc disease and was numb in my left arm and fist. After receiving prayer, I now have feeling in my left arm. Praise God! -K.P.

Chronic Back Pain

God touched me and healed me of chronic back pain that I had for approximately one year. I expereience severe back pain during the middle of the night. It would wake me up almost every night. Two weeks ago, I received prayer and since then I have not had any back pain, especially during the night. It's ALL GONE! Thank you, Lord for the power in the touch of believing Saints! -J.G.

Back Pain

I am visiting your church from Louisville, Kentucky. I received prayer for my back and after prayer I felt 50% better. When the woman who was praying for me prayed, I felt heat every place she placed her hand. May God receive all the glory and bless this church and the members who prayed for me. -S.H.

Upper Spine, Neck and Shoulder Pain

Sometime in or around 1971 I hit a tree while operating a motorcycle that belonged to someone that worked for me. I flew over the handlebars, hit the tree headfirst, and was knocked unconscious. I sustained massive bruising over a majority of my body, and injured my neck (bone chips in the nerve canals, disk bulge and spine curvature). While the neck and shoulder injuries were not life threatening, nor required surgery, they plagued me with severe pain that required chiropractic care on almost a monthly basis for the next thirty years.

In late 2001 John and Carol Arnott from the TACF visited The Crossing. During one of the speaking sessions on the topic of Forgiveness and how it can manifest itself in physical pain, John asked if anyone was suffering from the neck and shoulder pain, and for those people to come forward. I felt God prodding me to walk forward and join the group. I ended up in the back row of people who were waiting for prayer. John began walking up and down and came to stop at the spot in the line in front of me, but people were between he and I. He reached between the two people and pulled me forward. He asked me to describe the pain, and explain the circumstance that caused it. He asked me, “Who do you have to forgive in order to be free of the pain?” I told him, “no one, as I was the one who caused the accident so no one else was at fault”. He said, “well how about forgiving yourself?” I had never thought of it, so I did that. Immediately I felt a rush of heat through my neck and shoulders and the pain was gone. I testified to the gathering and continue to testify to it. -D.C.

God touched me, healed me and saved me from death. I suffered two traumatic brain surgeries. I woke up with no retardation. I’m normal and I’m alive. Thank you God, so much! These events are what brought me to God. Amen! -R.P.

Does God Heal Carpal Tunnel?

Carpal Tunnel, Left Wrist Pain

God touched me and healed me of Carpal Tunnel-left wrist pain. I had severely lost range of motion and because of the pain, my wrist was feeling jammed. 

During worship I heard myself say: “where the presence of the Lord is, there is power to heal”. So I told my Jehovah Rapha that my wrist was “freezing up” and that I needed to be able to move it. When I tried to move it, it moved for the first time in 2 months! My left hand could lift back as much as my right one could move and there was no pain!

During the healing time I had them pray for my wrist’s inability to let my hand move sideways, and movement was completely restored and the pain in movement has been reduced by 75%! -A.G

I forgot how much pain I had been in and how severe this problem was until I re-read my testimony. My wrist moves, lifts, I am able to type and it is 100% pain free! Glory!!! -A.G.

Does God Heal Calcium Deposits?

Calcium Deposits

The Lord has blessed me with taking a hobby that I absolutely adore, knitting, and turning it into a business. This work requires me to constantly use my hands. In November, I was having a lot of stress on this hand and a lot of difficulties doing my work. I noticed that a large lump had developed at the base of my center finger and it hurt. The more I tried to work, the more pain I had in my hand.

I went to the doctor after an examination and x-ray and he said I had a major calcium deposit and there was nothing I could do. The only option was to go to a hand surgeon who would make an incision and file it down. I didn’t want to have to go that route. The next Sunday at Church, the pastor asked anyone who had this type of infirmity to stand up and receive prayer. I stood up and had several people surround me who prayed over my hand. I went home and I continued to have the same problem with the pain.

I just kept believing and standing firm on the fact that the Lord had healed my hand. I would keep on moving my hand, knitting and praising the Lord that he had healed my hand. Two weeks later I was back in church again and one of the people who had prayed for me asked about my hand. I said, “I’m fine. My hand’s healed.” She could still feel the lump but said it was smaller. I said, “No, my hand is healed. That’s it. It’s healed.” Two days after that, I had no lump on this hand. It is gone. Praise the Lord! It might seem like a little thing, but it teaches me that God’s aware of everything that I need in my life. He’s really a great and merciful God. I spoke to the doctor but I haven’t seen him yet because I have no reason to return. -D.L.

Does God Heal Deviated Septums?

Deviated Septum

I attended the Randy Clark Global Awakening conference at the Crossing. During the time Bill Johnson shared about healing, he mentioned people being healed at other conferences of deviated septums along with several other diseases and problems. The first time he mentioned it, I thought “this is nothing compared to major illnesses” and I let it pass me by. However, I had this feeling that if he mentioned it again, which is a long shot at best, I would claim it. Sure enough He did and I claimed it. I never came forward, and no one laid hands on me, he just said “put your fingers on your nose and it is healed”. I decided to do it! Then he said “breathe through each nostril and check it out.” I did. Praise God it worked 100% in each nostril.

It may not seem significant to other but a long time ago, a doctor mentioned to me about getting my nose operated on. I visited a surgeon but just did not like the idea of having surgery. I figured since God seemed to let it happen, I would just have to deal with it! Little did I know that God would use it to be glorified about 50 years later! As I write this, I think of the holy words “my ways are not your ways, nor my thoughts your thoughts”. I had suffered through many upper respiratory infections throughout 50 years and on top of it developed asthma 2 years ago. What a relief it is to know that HE wants to heal and help us even in the non-significant things compared to other major illnesses. All praise to Him who delights in helping His children. -R.B.

Does God Heal Digestive Issues?

Lactose Intolerance

One morning at the end of service, I went to the altar to receive prayer for my shoulders. When I slept on them I would wake up with a very sharp, piercing pain.

As I was being prayed for I felt my shoulders getting better. My prayer partner asked me to do something I normally could not do. So I lifted my arms straight up in the air without any pain.

Then a pastor came by and said he had a picture of my stomach in knots. He asked if I had any stomach issues and I told him I have had lactose intolerance all my life (over 20 years) and more recently had irritable bowel syndrome.

My prayer partners came together agreeing in prayer for my healing. I actually felt as if my stomach was being coated and soothed.

After church I went with my wife to an Italian restaurant. I felt so good that I couldn't help but try to test out my healing. I ate hot peppers in my salad and ordered a four cheese calzone. A meal like this would have normally put me into some excruciating pain.

I had no pain at all! And to this day (now several years later) both my shoulders and my stomach are completely well!

Encopresis

On Sunday Jan 13th, I took Daphine into the church for healing of her bowel problem. Daphine will be 4 years old next week and when she was 2.5 years she started withholding her BMs. She impacted herself and was diagnosed with Encopresis which is a complication of chronic constipation where the child's intestine becomes distended and is therefore unable to hold stools resulting in leakages.

Under the care of a pediatric gastroenterologists, we did a clean out in May 2007. We were told it could take many years (and at least 12 months) before her intestine shrunk back allowing her to feel the urge to pass a BM. It has been a time of uncertainty and a time of immense stress for the family with many frustrations. Her pre-school made exceptions for her even though she was supposed to be potty trained and wherever we went, we had to carry many supplies with us as the leakages were unpredictable. Throughout the 8 months following the "clean out" she has constipated herself many times and in December she started showing signs of withholding. Our pediatric gastroenterologist moved away and our new one was unsupportive and told us that for many children it takes years and we shouldn't expect anything else.

Since she received prayer on Jan 13th, she has passed a BM most days and has been wearing "big girl" underwear and we are free to leave the house without supplies.

However, she only passed a BM if sitting on the portable potty in front of the TV eating a snack. This has been a huge improvement but has meant that I have had to figure this into our daily schedule and is obviously not "normal".

On January 31st, I prayed to God to complete her healing; to enable her to determine herself when she needed to sit on the potty. Today, February 1st, she did just that. She came up to me and said; "I have a tummy ache that is telling me I have to go potty" I sat her down and she went. I thank and praise God for his faithfulness and for completing her healing. Our God is a gracious God and a healing God and I will praise Him all of my days. -D

Ear and Body Pain

God touched me and healed me of emotional hurt and tension, fluid causing ringing in my ear, body and joint aches and pain, and tightness in my chest.

When I was being prayed for I felt very, very hot and slowly my chest felt lighter, my ear lessened ringing and my hurts felt soothed and my aches subsided. I could feel a freedom from within. -J.G.

Does God Heal Eyes?

A Blurry Eye Problem Healed!

A woman in the church testified that a "Yag Laser Capsulotomy surgery had made her eyes worse. This was a surgery I had to make a decision about to remove blurred membrane. When she testified, I felt God saying "Don't have the surgery, I will heal you."

I was prayed for in the middle of the service and noticed that the blurriness went away in the evening when it usually occurred.

Another time I was also healed of allergies which previously had led to bronchitis and pneumonia. Pastor Scott had a word and after prayer in service I was healed. -C.M.

Floaters

I was diagnosed with a rare liver disease. One of the prescribed treatments resulted in bilateral cataracts forming in both eyes. I had cataract surgery with lens implants. Within a year, the lens capsule became cloudy again, impeding my vision. Following laser surgery to correct this, I was plagued with “floaters” that appeared as veils moving constantly over my field of vision. The doctor explained that small particles of the lens capsule were caught in the viscous fluid of my eye. The fluid is very thick causing the particles to remain suspended instead of settling to the bottom of the eye, out of the field of vision. I attended a conference where a testimony of healing was shared. Those attending with eye problems were encouraged to stand for prayer. I immediately stood, closed my eyes and placed my hands over them. When I opened my eyes the floaters had disappeared. My vision was restored perfectly. At first I was afraid they would return, so I hesitated telling anyone, including my husband. After several days of clear vision I finally told him the particles have completely vanished. Praise the Lord! -K.M.

Glaucoma

I wanted to share what God has done for me through your ministry. While I was visiting your church with friends on October 22nd, 2006, an invitation was given for those with eye problems to stand. I have Glaucoma, which has no symptoms and can only be measured in a doctor’s office. Several people sitting nearby came and laid hands on me and prayed for me. A few weeks ago, I went for my usual check up. I was amazed to learn that my pressure dropped several points in each eye and there had been some other symptoms that had cleared up as well.When I told the doctor I had stood up in faith for prayer at church, he smiled and said something like “that’s good” but I could tell he may not have really been convinced that our God heals today. I want to say thank you for your faithfulness in providing the opportunity for us to wait on God for healing. I am believing God for a total healing, especially for my optic nerves. -K.H.

Does God Heal Feet?

Left Foot Neuroma

I had surgery on my left foot for Neuroma - a painful inflamed nerve. The Neuroma was cut out, but the pain still remained. I received prayer from a gentleman on the prayer team and had a sensation of "mildly warm peace and physical comfort" under his hand.

The condition had caused me to sit down during worship because the pain was so bad. Now the pain is gone even after standing for an hour in a prayer line. -S.M.

Does God Heal Food Allergies?

Child's Food Allergies-Healed!

This past Sunday, we had our daughter Sofia prayed for for food sensitivities/allergies. She is almost 2.5 years and we have been dealing with these issues pretty much since birth.

Although things have improved over the past year, she was still extremely sensitive to corn. This meant that anything with corn syrup, cornstarch, or added vitamins were off limits. Obviously this pretty much rules out most commercially produced foods and medicines and makes eating out next to impossible.

Everything had to be made from scratch with special attention to spice mixtures etc. Even cakes and cookies were difficult because vanilla extract a common flavoring often has corn syrup added and even when it doesn't, the alcohol used in the extract is corn based.

Monday morning after we had her prayed for, we began to introduce new foods into her diet. She has been able to eat everything we have given her with no problems. (Her symptoms before included pain as evidenced by crying etc, sometimes a rash, and always loose bloody stools.)

What is also important to note, is God's timing in this. Because my husband, Aldo and I had attended the Healing Conference the week before, we hadn't seen her in four days. She was always sleeping when we came home at night, and again when we left in the morning. Because of this, she was unwilling to go to the nursery Sunday morning. Therefore, when Pastor Scott announced a time of healing for digestive disorders, she was there with us.

The other interesting thing concerning timing is that for corn sensitive people, passover time is the time to stock up on corn free foods not available any other time of the year (for some reason, corn is considered a no no in most passover foods). I was just telling my husband that I need to check and see if the foods were available in the markets yet so I could stock up on cookies, and condiments like mustard and ketchup. So now we no longer need to worry about that.

Food Allergies

On Sunday March 9, after we gave our last testimony, we had our son Jeremiah prayed for. He had been suffering from food allergies/sensitivities since birth. He was unable to eat bananas, apples, corn and milk products. His primary symptoms were Excema and chronic constipation. We began to introduce new foods into his diet right away. Within a week, his Excema was entirely gone, and his constipation is also gone. The neatest thing about Jeremiah's experience was that God gave him the faith that he was healed. The following week he just kept declaring his healing. "Mom buy this, I can eat that now. Mom, I want to try that. I can eat everything now, because God healed me." He also had a real encounter with the Holy Spirit. He said it felt like God was tickling him when he was being prayed for and even for a few days afterwards. I believe that God also performed some inner healing that day. The light that I used to witness in my son's eyes when he was a baby was back. He also became very bold and just generally cheerful.

He was also prayed for environmental allergies. We have seen a drastic improvement in that area, and we are believing that God will continue the healing. He used to have to have Zyrtec every night, and occasionally needed to use a nasal spray also. We have only had to give him medicine a few times since the prayer.

So once again, the Power of the testimony is evident.

Does God Heal Headache/Migraines?

Headache and Sinus

God touched me and healed me of a headache. I woke up with a headache (sinus) that had persisted for two days. The Lord told me that I would need to stand for healing at the service. I debated being obedient because it did not hurt much, but I decided to be obedient. When I stood, my headache was gone! -T.C.

Migraine

God touched me and healed of a migraine and nausea. I had a migraine and nausea last night. I was burning up and woke up drenched from sweating during the night. I woke up shaking and feeling extremely weak and drained.

My body temperature has returned to normal and I have no more pain and I am now stronger. -H.J.

Migraine Headahces

God touched me and healed me of my migraine headaches. I was suffering for weeks and today the Lord chose to heal me. Thank you Jesus! -Y.C.

Does God Heal Heart Conditions?

Atrial Fibrillation

After being diagnosed with Arterial Fibrillation in 2004, I received healing prayer for healing of my heart rate, a reduction of the A-Fib episodes and to get off of a strong rhythm-regulating medication.

At present, I am still diagnosed with A-Fib but have had very few episodes in the past 8 years. I am off the strong medications that were initially prescribed to regulate my heart rate. One of the greatest answers to prayers regarding the A-Fib is that should I have a “flutter” or “palpitation” I do not go into panic mode or get fearful. I rely totally on the Lord, pray healing Scripture over myself and in a very short time my heart rate goes back to normal. I continue to trust the Lord for his healing mercies day-by-day and that my physical heart rate would be normal and that my spiritual heart would be his heart towards others. -K.J.

I had a pain in my left wrist, and hand and left heel. I had prayer for my heal a few days ago, but there was no change. Tonight, I received prayer for my hand and wrist prompted by a Word of Knowledge. As the people prayed for me, not only were my hand and wrist healed, but my heel was healed as well. -A.D.

Does God Heal Hip Pain?

Healing from Hip Pain

Sunday morning (March 17, 2013), Pastor Scott asked anyone experiencing joint pain to stand for prayer. The night before I could not bend down to pick things up without a lot of pain in my hips, so I stood up. The woman next to me prayed for me and I tried bending after she prayed. I was completely pain free and I still am as of this writing a day later.

My bigger testimony on my hip is that two years ago I was told I would need a hip replacement sometime (osteoarthritis, almost no cartilage left on my right hip) and was sent to physical therapy to delay that time. I went to therapy and was pretty much pain free after the first week. I have continued the exercises more or less since then, with some gaps in my regularity. I have also continued to receive prayer when I had pain. I believe my present level of functioning is more than just good nutrition and exercise (which I do pursue). I am believing God wants me in divine health so I can be fruitful in His kingdom and I believe Jesus heals today because He is the same yesterday, today , and forever (Hebrews 13:8). -G.B.

Hip Pain

God touched me and healed me of pain in the left hip that I have had about 3 weeks. 6-7 people prayed for me. I felt heat all around me and I felt lifted up before the Lord. Now the pain is completely gone!

Does God Heal Infertility?

God touched me and healed me of infertility. We had been trying for two years to get pregnant and it had been a very difficult journey for us. In October, we felt compelled to receive prayer and remember the powerful prayer ministry at Washington Crossing United Methodist church even though it is not our own church. Our friend had brought us there once.

We met with Pastor Ed on Wednesday night, who prayed for us and then we came back the following Sunday and had a whole group of people pray for us which had and immense healing power over our discouraged spirits.

Two weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. God used the people of this church to minister to us very powerfully and to show us He had not forgotten about us and blessed us immensely through the prayers of people who don't even know us.

Does God Heal Knees?

God Heals Hip Pain

Approximately 10 months ago I experienced significant right knee pain which impacted my ability to exercise, climb steps and even walk comfortable. One Sunday morning I decided to seek prayer for physical healing at the altar. While the women at the altar was praying for me I felt intense warmth around my knee. After the prayer ALL pain was gone! To this day, I am healed, can walk, climb steps and exercise without complications! Praise the Lord!! -T.H. February, 2013

Plica

God touched me and healed me of the plica in my knee. A plica is if you can imagine putting a rubber band around your knee and tightening it. That’s essentially what a plica is. It’s a fold of skin that for some reason on some people doesn’t dissolve when you’re born. And sometimes it gets irritated, gets tighter around the knee, and when it gets tighter the band gets thicker. Repeat this until it’s almost impossible to straighten your knee without intense painand locking every single time. I have had a plica in my knee for about 2 ½ years now. I had my right knee operated on before I got pregnant with my now sixteen month old daughter. At that time, the doctor told me that I had a slight plica in my left knee, but I might go away on its own. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t. I couldn’t sit down with my knee in a 90 degree angle for more than a few second. It was agony at the end of the day (or even beginning for that matter) to get up from a sitting position. It was affecting every single part of my life. I was almost at the point of making an appointment with my doctor when I half-jokingly said, “Well, it’s either time for Jesus to heal the knee or I’m gonna have to get surgery”

During this whole time that the pain was at its worst was when Pastor Scott starting asking people to stand for healing. I don’t quite know why I never stood for healing. Pride, a sense of unworthiness, who knows… I kept telling myself (I had missed one week when Pastor Ed had calledfor knees to be healed), well maybe next time he calls for knee… you never called for them specifically again and yup, you guessed it I never stood up! Silly me! It was also during this time that my husband Paul, was praying for the pain in my knee every night at bed. It was usually as I was drifting off to sleep and sometimes I could even feel him reach over and touch my knee. He had been praying I believe for about a period of a month almost every night when one morning I work up feeling especially refreshed. Like I had had a really good night’s sleep for the first time in a long time. (the pain had begun to affect my sleeping habits as well and I was probably only getting around 4 hours every night). I got out of bed and was half-way down the steps before I realized there was no pain. NONE at all…. Not even a twinge! This was huge! I got downstairs and tried to do a squat…something I could not previously do because of horrid pain. You guessed it… I could do one!

God Heals Knees - Doctors Confirm!

Hi All, I went to The Rothman Institute today. The x-rays showed very little arthritis (previous body MRI done years ago showed my body was loaded with arthritis). Upon examination the Doctor tried every position, pushing, pulling, twisting of the knee and it did not hurt me at all. He said there was no fluid buildup and no inflammation. I told him I was prayed over in the healing rooms in our church on Saturday. I also told him I didn’t receive a complete healing that day, but it was much better (I realized that I didn't receive the healing right away because I had to forgive myself for gaining weight. Weight puts additional pressure on our knees and I was feeling guilty about it. As soon as I forgave myself I could feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit). I shared that each day it would get better and when it hurt I would say “get out, I’m healed” and the pain would go away.” He just looked at me and asked me if I wanted a shot of Cortisone. I told him, “no thank you”. He suggested therapy to strengthen the knee. I took the prescription for therapy and he wants to see me in a month. While waiting for the prescription I heard the doctor recording my visit. I heard him say that patient went to a healing room at her church and was prayed over on Saturday. Patient said her healing was much better after being prayed over and each day it has gotten better, but wanted to come here for confirmation that the knee was totally healed. I wasn’t going to take the prescription for therapy, but decided to leave that option open. If I hadn’t been waiting for it I would not have heard the doctor recording my case. I have experienced a return of a symptom that occurred when I had cancer. Since the return of this symptom I have also felt neck and shoulder pain. During prayer today I felt a complete release of the pain as if a gripping hand was taken off the right side of my neck. Praise be to Jesus! The Author and Finisher of our faith- by His stripes we are healed-I am healed! Glory be to God! Thank you for releasing me from fear and anxiety. Be praised Holy God! -K.D.

Neck Pain

I have a Christian co-worker who I’ve been discipling here at my office. He told me he had bad neck pain earlier this week (Wed). He had it since the previous Friday. I invited him into my office for prayer. He sat down, I spoke to him about healing. I shared a lot of what others have shared with me, especially how healing is progressive so not to get disappointed if it doesn’t happen instantly.

We prayed and I asked if it was any better. He said 50%. We prayed some more. Then I felt the Spirit prompting me to ask him if he was carrying any stress or anxiety. He was. So he confessed it and prayed for the Lord to take it away. By the next day the pain was completely gone. He was thrilled and said our time of prayer was one of the closest moments he’s had with the Lord’s presence. Not only that he knows that God still heals today. He is Jehovah-Rapha! -P.E.

Low Back, Shoulder, Neck Pain

In Mid-February, God touched me and healed me of lower back pain. I was asked to stand and receive prayer. Jesse Lawson came over and prayed over me. He put his hand on my lower back. While he was praying I felt a very warm soothing heat coming off his hand to my back where his hand was placed and when we were done the pain was 80% less and was gone by the end of the day.

Then in Mid-March, God touched me and healed me of incredible stress, as I felt crushed by pressure. I also had lost my peace of mind and calmness. Jane Lawson prayed for my stress relief. Everyone prayed hard and long I felt no difference and sat down to finish praying. While I was praying I felt a very warm heat building in the middle of my back and rise through my back, shoulders, neck and head. It was a very warm, peaceful heat that lasted for 10 minutes then I was fine in body and mind. -T.K.

God touched me and healed me of a very strong pain going down from my neck to my right shoulder. I had it for 2 weeks when prayed for, it intensified on my neck but after a few minutes it started to go away and it is almost gone! All glory be to God! -E.S.

Whiplash, Neck and Shoulder Pain

God touched me and healed me of neck pain from an automobile accident Friday afternoon. I was hit from behind and had whip lash, sore neck and shoulders. My pain was alleviated by 75%.

By the way- the morning of the accident I asked the Lord to send me someone to pray with. The young woman who hit me was my prayer recipient. She was very open to prayer to calm her down. The Lord was faithful! He also brought my friend Donna to stand by me shortly after the accident. -J.M.

God touched me and healed me of back pain experienced from metastasis lung cancer. The pain was gone after I finished praying. God has been with me through the last 2 ½ years, He keeps revealing things to me as I go for prayer. He hears me. -J.R.

Shoulder Pain

God touched me and healed my neck and shoulder pain. After two ladies prayed over me, I tested out my neck and it immediately cracked and the pain went away. The ladies had prayed for my bones to come into alignment. The muscle soreness and irritation are gone. I can now focus more on the message and freely praise the Lord! -K.U.

Over the past few years, I have suffered from aches and pains through my entire body. I’ve lost feeling in my left foot and hand due to a seizure. I lost memory and the ability to play guitar. I also got depressed. Everyone around me felt my pain and saw my depression. I tried to hide my pain by helping others the best that I could. I found a man so eager and passionate about the same things that I once did. This man led me to this church, which I now call home. That Sunday Pastor Scott prayed for me and I realized that I may have had a new beginning. I felt like I had a major cleansing from God after that day. I ended up in the hospital weeks later. I had lost my hair, I was walking with a cane and a back brace, my temperature was up to 105 degrees, and my blood pressure and oxygen were lowering to dangerous levels for about 7 days.

The uncle of the man who brought me to The Crossing came to my room and prayed for me and our prayers were answered. A friend of the family helped to lower my temperature. My mother in law out of the blue, said “You have Lyme’s Disease”. One month later, I was diagnosed with Lyme’s Disease. Problems started to fade with treatment. I kept coming to church, seeking more healing, but I was still having seizures about every other week. I stood up one week in church and had a healing, I felt a flutter in my head. I was hesitant to share my experience with anyone and so did not say anything to those around me, and weeks went by where I did not experience any seizures. I stood up for another healing and I felt a warm sensation starting from my lower back up to the back of my head. I’ve never felt anything like that. My pain was instantly gone in my neck. This is the wonderful thing that could happen to anyone and it happened to me. Thank you God! -M.B.

Does God Heal Pulled Muscles?

Pulled Hamstring and Lower Back

Two summers ago in a painfully awkward and comic attempt at waterskiing, I pulled my right hamstring and some miscellaneous muscles in my right thigh. While not requiring immediate professional attention, I did immediately follow the practical treatments recommended by various professional websites.

Gradually, normal but limited strength and flexibility returned, but there was persistent deep muscular tightness in certain areas of my thigh, buttocks and lower back. Stretching exercises seemed to have little long-term effect on those areas. Then starting last winter, a few times each week, I began experiencing lower back pain & tightness in my leg when I'd get up in the morning. This required immediate & prolonged stretching to alleviate the pain & tightness before I could continue on with the day.

In September my wife & I attended the healing conference here at the Crossing. At one of the sessions a more general invitation for healing was given to the congregation, and after some hemming & hawing, and some encouragement from my wife, I decided to stand up for my hamstring, even though it hadn't been bothering me the last couple of days. Prayer was given, though no specific word of knowledge about my situation. Quite honestly, I did not sense or feel anything - but I did have faith and realized that God could heal me without me knowing it - especially since I wasn't in immediate pain. So I sat down, and remember thinking that the "proof is in the pudding", and that "time would tell".

Well, I'm here to say that it's been almost 10 weeks since then, and I have been pain-free and limber, with not one instance of the early morning tightness & pain I had been experiencing over the past several months! (!!!!) Thank You, Lord! -J.T.

Does God Heal Shoulder Problems?

Shoulder Pain and Lactose Intolerance

One morning at the end of service, I went to the altar to receive prayer for my shoulders. When I slept on them I would wake up with a very sharp, piercing pain.

As I was being prayed for I felt my shoulders getting better. My prayer partner asked me to do something I normally could not do. So I lifted my arms straight up in the air without any pain.

Then a pastor came by and said he had a picture of my stomach in knots. He asked if I had any stomach issues and I told him I have had lactose intolerance all my life (over 20 years) and more recently had irritable bowel syndrome.

The pastor and my prayer partner came together agreeing in prayer for my healing. I actually felt as if my stomach was being coated and soothed.

After church I went with my wife to an Italian restaurant. I felt so good that I couldn't help but try to test out my healing. I ate hot peppers in my salad and ordered a four cheese calzone. A meal like this would have normally put me into some excruciating pain.

I had no pain at all! And to this day (now several years later) both my shoulders and my stomach are completely well!

Shoulder Impingement Syndrome

God touched me and greatly improved my shoulder impingement syndrome. I've noticed recently that I couldn't move my right arm much higher than level with my shoulder when it was straight out to the side.

I had gotten my shoulder pains diagnosed and I'm getting physical therapy for this condition. When I came in today I couldn't raise my arm much past my shoulder and now I can raise it much higher after receiving prayer. It's not 100% yet, but it's a big improvement. -R.H.

Does God Heal Sinus Infections?

Sinus Infection

During my experience at the healing school, when they taught and prayed about the words of knowledge I didn’t feel like I received any words. I have been asking the Lord for this gift for a while, so I was a little disappointed when nothing happened. I told the Lord that I would just wait for His timing. On the Monday after the healing school ended, during my devotions, I felt a sharp pain in my left cheek, in the sinus area. Since I usual don’t have sinus problems I thought “Ok Lord, if this is a word of knowledge then you’re going to have to show me who it is for.” I told the Lord, when He revealed to me who this word of knowledge was for, then I would pray for them. To make a long story short, it took four days for me to find out who needed prayer.

The following Thursday, I went to the fabric store. When it was my turn to pay for the things that I was purchasing, the cash register was replaced by a young girl. She asked me how I was and I asked her the same question. Instead of giving the usual answer “I’m fine”, she said “When I get rid of this cold I will be fine”. I asked her if her face hurt and she said “ my sinuses are killing me!” I thought: “Ok Lord, this must be her.”

I told her I had just gone to a conference on healing and that I thought God told me to pray for someone with sinus problems. I asked her if I could pray for her and she said yes. I also asked her if I could touch her and she said yes. So I put my finger gently on her sinuses and commanded healing to take place. I don’t honestly remember what I said. It was a very short prayer. When I finished and said “Amen”, I asked her if she felt any different. She opened her eyes and said “I can breathe!” I was so excited I just kept saying “Thank you Lord!” I must say I still get a smile on my face when I think about what the Lord did. I am looking forward to receiving more words of knowledge in the future. -I.T.

Sinus Headache

God touched me and healed me of a headache. I woke up with a headache (sinus) that had persisted for two days. The Lord told me that I would need to stand for healing at the service. I debated being obedient because it did not hurt much, but I decided to be obedient. When I stood, my headache was gone! -T.C.

Pain on Left Side of Throat

God touched me and healed me of pain on the left side of my throat which would come on periodically when I was exposed to a draft or cold. One Sunday evenening in the church service, I felt the symptoms of this very subtle pain coming on. The Pastor asked people to stand up for those desiring healing. The anointing was there to heal. I stood up with others. He also asked people in the service to move to those standing to pray for them.

A young lady, Harmony, came and prayed very quietly but with great sincerity. I could feel her spirit interceding. The prayer was very simple. She stayed with me for a while just praying and listening. It was after a few minutes that I began to feel a tremendous heat as if hot oil was poured upon me beginning on my head. My whole being was consumed with this heat. I realized that the Holy Spirit's anointing was upon me in a powerful way. I told Harmony, "I'm burning up" to which she responded, "Me too." We both knew God was ministering His healing and that this was a deep penetration of the Spirit's power and anointing getting all the impurities out of my system. I was also sweating profusely. I knew that God was cleansing my body from whatever was in it causing this on and off sensation in my throat. Simultaneously as I was burning, Pastor Scott said, "Someon is burning up on fire." I stretched both my arms up to confirm his statement. Thank the Lord the pain went away and has not returned! -Y.E.

Does God Heal Thyroid Disease?

Thyroid Disease

God touched me and healed me of hypothyroidism. I lived a very healthy childhood until the end of my first year of college. Within a month of coming home from school, I was diagnosed with both Lymes and hypothyroidism. That began a process of years of doctor’s visits, hospital visits, and physical therapy. At the conclusion of my senior year of colleges I was also diagnosed with a condition called vasil vagal syncope, which would cause my blood pressure to suddenly drop and I would collapse.

For years I have prayed for healing, and the difficult thing was that none of my illnesses really caused me pain and they were not a constant problem, so it was always difficult to determine whether I had been really healed. As the years have gone by I have been treated for these conditions, I have been healed of my ailments with the exception of the thyroid disease. The problem with thyroid disease is that in order to see if you are healed of the disease, you have to go off of the medication, which doctors are not usually willing to do. One of my doctors told me that if I went off of the medication then I could have a stroke.

In a final attempt to receive my healing from this disease, I found a new endocrinologist in January. This doctor did a blood test on me and found that I did not have the immune deficiency that most people with thyroid disease have. So after a few months of being under his care, he permitted me to stop taking the medication to see how my body would respond. He told me that in his 17 years of practice he had never let anyone go off of his or her medication. He seemed unsure of how my body would respond. I told him that I would pray and God would heal me, he told me that this would not help.

So I received prayer from some people at church before and during that time and I prayed for my healing every time that doubt came in my mind. Last week I went to get my blood test and this week when I went to see the endocrinologist he told me that there was no sign that I had thyroid disease anymore. After nine years of being treated for it, I am totally healed!

Does God Heal Walking Issues?

"It Doesn't Get Any Better"

Just a few short years ago I was immortal, or at least I thought so. I was powerful, strong, and believing I was in charge. But I was brought to my knees; literally. I was diagnosed with diabetes, heart disease and cancer. I saw some top surgeons and I thought they had all talked to each other because they all told me the same thing: "We can't operate. If we try we will kill you." I didn't want to ask God to help. I didn't want to look like a hypocrite by asking for His help. But everywhere I turned, there He was! I needed a lawyer to arrange my will. I was too sick to leave home. Patti (that's my wife) called one and he offered to come to my home. When he did, he could feel Patti's faith. He asked if he could bring his wife back since we would need a witness for signing the will. They asked to lay hands on me and pray for me. I said ok. When they did, I felt it deeply.

People everywhere were praying for me, this church included. Everywhere I went people prayed for me - nurses, hospital cleaning people, strangers. My wife said God would heal me. When? “In His time”. I said I'm ready right now. But I wasn't, my heart wasn't right. I could write a book and not say all that's happened to me. Here's just a couple of the miracles that I've experienced. At one time I was afraid of a needle. Then I knew the Lord, and was facing a 12 hour operation, knowing at best I would lose a lot of major body parts, and I was at peace. My blood pressure was perfect! I've had two major ones since and have been calmly assured.

My worst surgery I was in real trouble. A battle was going on within me. I said "God, is this a battle between You and the devil?" He answered (with a chuckle) "Yes it is - Who do you think will win?" I awoke in the morning and a janitor was mopping the floor of my hospital room. He looked straight at me and said "All in God's time. Romans 8:28"

Though I cherish the extra time I've been given to draw and give all the love I can, I rest in the thought that Jesus gave His all so I (and you) can have true peace. I thought how special I must be to receive so many miracles and blessings. And then it dawned on me - no, I'm not so special. This is available to anyone who will open his heart and believe. I had planned to end my story here, but I can't. It was here at the Crossing during prayer for healing on December 3rd I asked for prayer and people prayed over me. A lady (Chris) asked me to try something I could not do before. I tried bending my knees while standing - quite a feat for me. It worked! Then the very next week another prayer, another miracle! I walked all around the church - something I hadn't been able to do for two years! I am in awe of all that God can do. If I lived another fifty years, I would not be able to praise the Lord enough! If I only lived another minute, I've known peace, love and joy. More important, I know Jesus. I think it's a beer commercial that says: It just doesn't get any better than this!!! -S.G.

God touched me and healed me of all my afflictions. I’m believing in my precious Lord and Savior for complete healing upon my body. He touched my body with strength and no pain. I’ve never had a moment without pain. As I’m writing this I’m still feeling this warmth and love. His presence is so strong. I just wait on Him everyday. I know He has the power the only power for strength and healing. Pastor Ed, Chris and Estelle prayed over me and others I don’t know continued praying for me. I am able to walk without a walker. I had a pain in my left wrist, and hand and left heel. I had prayer for my heal a few days ago, but there was no change. Tonight, I received prayer for my hand and wrist prompted by a Word of Knowledge. As the people prayed for me, not only were my hand and wrist healed, but my heel was healed as well. -A.D.

Carpal Tunnel-Left Wrist Pain

God touched me and healed me of Carpal Tunnel-left wrist pain. I had severely lost range of motion and because of the pain, my wrist was feeling jammed.

During worship I heard myself say: “where the presence of the Lord is, there is power to heal”. So I told my Jehovah Rapha that my wrist was “freezing up” and that I needed to be able to move it. When I tried to move it, it moved for the first time in 2 months! My left hand could lift back as much as my right one could move and there was no pain!

During the healing time I had them pray for my wrist’s inability to let my hand move sideways, and movement was completely restored and the pain in movement has been reduced by 75%! -A.G

Does God Heal in the Womb?

God's Touch on an Embryo with Brain Issues and on Her Mother

After my 20-week ultrasound, I learned that my baby in the womb has polymicrogyria, which means she has too many ripples in her brain. The most common effect of this is seizures, but it can also result in other significant developmental delays or retardation. I was shocked because I had sensed God had a really special plan for this baby. The doctor at Princeton hospital was encouraging us to abort the baby saying that when there's a problem with the brain there are usually other significant physical problems, but abortion was totally out of the question - in fact, it felt like spiritual attack against this child. Instead, I came into the Crossing's Healing Rooms for prayer. Healing room staff prayed over me and little “R". They prayed such beautiful and encouraging prayers of blessing and also sensed an anointing over the baby. Everything they prayed and prophesied resonated with things the Lord was speaking to me. One even had a vision of me holding my hands over my belly and singing Psalms to the baby - and in fact, the Lord had just recently encouraged me to start listening to a CD of Psalms, and I had been singing them over “R”! One HR member felt led to give me a prayer shawl to take home and then wrap the baby in when she was born.I had another ultrasound at 35 weeks at which they discovered that the baby's head was too large and all of the baby's other bones were too short. I was again shocked. I cried and prayed over baby “R". That night, I was very anxious, but the Lord led my thoughts to the words that were spoken over the baby in the Healing Rooms, and in faith, I took the prayer shawl I was given and wrapped it around my belly - trusting that what God promised through prayer would come to pass. I went to sleep in peace.At 38 weeks, the doctor at Princeton hospital told me there was only a 50/50 chance that “R" would survive after birth. (I came to learn that this was factually untrue, but it really rattled me!) I needed to build our little crib for the baby, but the thought was in the back of my mind, because of this doctor's words, that I might not come home from the hospital with a child. Again, I leaned into the words spoken over “R" in the Healing Room, words which spoke of God's power and goodness, and I put the prayer shawl in her crib, where I trusted she would one day sleep.On May 13, “R" was born. All of the OB's on call, the pediatricians on call and the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) staff were on full alert that I was in labor and that this mystery baby was about to be revealed. She was allowed to stay with me for about an hour before they took her to the NICU for monitoring. As they monitored her, they found that she was very healthy and "normal". The neurologist has checked her out, and she has been behaving neurologically normal as well. She was allowed to leave the NICU two days before they predicted, and we were even discharged from the hospital a day early.We are supposed to keep watching for seizures until “R" is two, and there's still a chance that she could have some form of dwarfism, but we are trusting God that she WILL have a full and fruitful life, that she will be a true worshiper and that she will have an impact in her generation towards the expansion of God's Kingdom.God is good.
