Every Wednesday, from 09/09/2020 to 09/30/2020, 5:45 PM - 7:00 PM
We are gathering outside for at least the month of September on the Crossing campus. Registration for students is NO LONGER required each week.
Our gatherings will consist of re-connecting, socially distanced games, and fellowship for the first month. We know that not all students will be able to attend these gatherings for varying reasons; we will continue to have online content available for students. As a youth ministry, let's stay unified, gracious, and compassionate as we support one another during these times. Outdoor, in-person youth group provides a space to see everyone face-to-face as we journey into the fall.
Do students need to wear a mask? Will social distancing be required?
The wearing of a mask will be optional for students and leaders. Governor Wolf and the DOH Secretary's Order requires individuals to wear a face covering, in both indoor public places and in the outdoors when they are not able to consistently maintain social distancing from individuals who are not members of their household. As stated, we will be thoroughly enforcing social distancing among our students and leaders. We will be asking students to stay at least 6’ away from others, and avoid hugs and handshakes during the event, and while entering and exiting. Our games and campfire environments, will be chosen and designed based on the ability for students to socially distance themselves from others.
There will be a zero toleration policy for students who repeatedly break social distancing rules, and there will be a zero toleration policy for students who mock any student or leader who so chooses to wear a mask.
