George Matthew Clash

Pastor of Prayer & Prophetic, Outreach & Discipleship

George Matthew Clash is the Pastor of Children, Prayer, and Prophetic ministries at The Crossing. George is from Somerset, New Jersey. He came to know Jesus in 2010. Several months after his conversion, he began to serve in ministry teaching a weekly Bible Study to the youth at the church he was attending in North Brunswick, NJ. George continued his pursuit to know Jesus more and see others walk in the fullness of life that He promised (John 10:10). In 2012, he started attending Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania as a Biblical Studies major with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry. He graduated from Cairn University in May 2017 with a B.S. in Biblical Studies. During his time at Cairn, he served as a Youth Pastor in Northeast Philadelphia helping that ministry to go from 4 youth to 40 in a year. From that ministry, many of the youth are now pursuing a call into ministry looking to make a significant impact in their families, neighborhoods, cities, and nation. He is currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Divinity from United Theological seminary with an expected graduation date of May 2021.

George has been on staff since October 2016. He has recognized the great destiny that God has placed on this generation. As a visionary leader, it has been his desire to raise up children, men and women who know the word of God, the ways of God, and the voice of God, so that the glory of God may be made known in every sphere of life through Jesus Christ.

George is happily married to his college sweetheart, Nicole Clash. They both are excited about a lifetime in service to the Lord together.
