Prayer Shield and Prophetic Ministry.
Ed Reistetter - 215-493-5080
Robin Fickle - 215-428-1944

The Prayer Shield is comprised of people who love to pray for the different ministries of the church. Your prayers are vital since no kingdom work is advanced without prayer! Prayer volunteers can pray as one’s schedule permits and for ministries of one’s choice. Prayer Volunteers will need access to email to receive prayer requests. Prayer requests are sent out at least once a month by the Prayer Shield Team Captains who are in charge of finding out the prayer needs of specific ministries within the church.

The Prophetic Ministry at the Crossing encourages its members to continually grow in their relationship with the Lord. As in any relationship communication is important. We are all blessed with a God who talks with His people. We want to hear from heaven! The Lord speaks with us in different ways – sometimes in words we easily understand, at others with pictures, impressions, dreams, visions, etc. Frequently, we may think we have heard from the Lord and His counsel to us is to “test every spirit (1 John 4:1). Truth and accuracy are important with every word we may receive from the Lord.

For this reason, the Crossing has developed a prophetic core group that prays about and tests every prophetic word that may have been received by its members. The prophetic core group is composed of people who flow in gifts of the Holy Spirit who judge the prophecy based upon Biblical principles (1 Cor 14:29). (M)
