Worship and Arts Ministry Mission Statement
The Worship and Arts Ministry at the Crossing is committed to the identification, development, and empowerment of the Christian artist to lead in the Praise and Worship of God and to help communicate the timeless truths of Jesus clearly, relevantly, and without distraction.

What we do:
The Worship and Arts Ministry is here to support and enhance the services of Washington Crossing United Methodist church with quality music, drama, video and technical production. Our goal is to produce a high level of artistic excellence in every aspect of our worship services. Each year we also support numerous conferences and special events held here on site.

Who we are:
We are blessed to have an artistic community of talented believers who worship the Lord wholeheartedly and love to serve. Whether through vocal or instrumental music, drama, dance, video or other media, the Worship and Arts Ministry is designed to provide opportunities of service where artists can minister to God, to the church and to each other.

If you have skills in any of the various expressions of the Arts and want to contribute your time and talents to help us, please let us know. We're always looking for qualified volunteers who truly enjoy their work and would love to serve the Lord and the Crossing with their talents.

Worship Team Rehearsal Schedule
Instrumentalists: Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Vocalists: Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements necessary to getting involved in each:

Worship Team
• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must have attended the Crossing.
• Must be at least 13 years old.
• Must complete a successful audition.
• Must be able to sing or play in at least one Saturday or Sunday services a month.
• Must be able to commit to at least 4 months of ministry.
• Must be committed to worshipping the Lord.

Drama Team
• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must have attended the Crossing.
• Must be at least 13 years old.
• Must complete a successful audition.
• Must be able to perform in at least one Saturday or Sunday services a month.
• Must be committed to worshipping the Lord through drama.

Dance Team
• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must have attended the Crossing.
• Must be at least 13 years old.
• Must complete a successful audition.
• Must be able to perform in at least one Saturday or Sunday services a month.
• Must be committed to worshipping the Lord through dance.

Technical Team
• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Must have attended the Crossing.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to serve in at least one Saturday or Sunday services a month.
